Ramage’s Own Goal (Bolton vs Newcastle 26/12/2006)

Panel Decision

Peter Ramage was pushed by Bolton’s Kevin Nolan during the incident in which he scored a comedy own goal. Whether the push made a difference is hard to tell but strangely, Ramage decided to blame his keeper rather than appealing to the referee!

The panel adjudges Ramage was pushed and so his own goal should have been disallowed. The Right Result is therefore a 1-1 draw.
