CHARLTON vs FULHAM - Addicks denied home win
Wednesday 27th December 2006

The free kick that led to Fulham’s equaliser in the 93rd minute should not have been awarded. If anything it should have gone to Charlton. The linesman admitted he gave the free kick for handball against Djimi Traore, but if anyone did handle it was Fulham’s Tomasz Radzinski.
The panel adjudges that the free kick should not have been given to Fulham and the resulting goal is therefore invalid. The Right Result was a 2-1 win to Charlton.

The only angle the incident was not shown from was the linesman’s viewpoint. He clearly saw something as he flagged straight away. Until we can all see this we have to accept Sky just wanted an Alan Pardew love-in.
