FULHAM vs WATFORD - Hornets benefit from refereeing gaff

A New Year and perhaps a new start for Watford, who in this match benefited from the officials disallowing two goals by Heidar Helguson, the second of which was onside.

The Right Result is a 1-0 win for Fulham.

There were a few close decisions on 30 December but the officials called most of them correctly including all The Right Result ones. Probably the most controversial decisions were allowing Solskjaer’s goal and Ronaldo’s second, but careful analysis shows the strikers were actually level. Morgan’s punch on Van Persie would have merited a penalty, but the incident was just outside the area. Ah yes, Priskin’s goal was clearly off-side - but then the match was abandoned anyway!
