The most overused phrase in football punditry is "These decisions even themselves out over a season, don't they, Barry" - utter nonsense. If this were true we are due at least three dodgy penalties and about a dozen ludicrous red and yellow cards in the final, vital three games. The standard of refereeing is shocking and this is my nomination for worst decision of the season - it could still send us down. I applaud Paul Jewell for getting angry because I was bloody livid.
