Craig Bellamy’s goal for Liverpool was wrongly disallowed for off-side, denying the home side a deserved draw against the champions elect.

The Right Result was a 1-1 draw.

    Would the foul on Saha in the penalty area not have made this result 2-1 ?

    I thought that Agger brought him down as well to be honest…

    For me though the real highlights were Alex Ferguson’s goal celebrations and Scholes daft attempt at a punch - as footballing comedy goes I thought it was superb, up there with the Lehmann vs Drogba hilarity earlier in the season!

    The result should be 2-1 for me, Saha was fouled in the area. I’m with Oddball.

    Unsurprisingly I am also with Oddball on this one, even though Bellamy’s goal was ok, Saha should have had a pen.

    I didn’t see it as a foul on Saha at all, but Bellamy’s goal was ok. I know that seems a bit Wenger-ish of me for the a fans but I didn’t think Saha was wronged and 1-1 is right

    What??? Bellamy was offside as soon as the ball hit Sissoko’s head. It was clear at the time and it was talked about on the TV and radio over and over again. In fact this is the first site that I have seen to pretend that it was anything other than the right decision. I do have some sympathy though, personaly, I think that the linesman was flagging for the first cross into the box and not the Sissoko flick on, but it WAS offside so the right decision was made in the end.

    avid liverpoll fan myself will have to agree bellamy was offside got a touch off sissoko. We still made the mancs look championship quality tho..Wot bovered face ,i aint bovered!!

    1-0 was right but a fluke

    Bellamy was offside and Saha’s was never a penalty
