  At first I thought Petrov dived but I agree after seeing the replay. O’Neill also seemed pretty sure it wasn’t a dive and I usually feel that he’s pretty honest about this kind of stuff. He should have been England manager!

  Agreed, O’Neill’s got a fairer view than most of the others. Not sure about him for the England job but then anyone could inspire more confidence then McClown!

  You can’t knock McLaren just yet, he’s only just started in the job. Judge him after the next 2/3 games. I think he’ll come good - any team with Lampard & JT in it has definitely got a chance.

  Oh I think that we can, he doesn’t look like, sound like or feel like the right sort of guy to be managing England. Let’s face it he was the eighteenth choice for the job after everyone but my grandma turned it down first, not to mention the fact that he was a key part of Sven’s management team so he must have had a hand in some of those fabulous tactics and selections that served us so well. And as for Fat Frank, he’s just awesome for England isn’t he, a real keeper in that midfield role, scores goals for fun, I feel so much better when he’s playing! On John Terry though I’ll agree he’s quality.

  100% agree with Buda frank lumpard is a shocker at international level and should be dropped…..for good!

  this was a clear penalty as if as rafa said it was a dive how many people do you see dive backwards this was a penalty and the ref bottled it as it was liverpool and would have ment that they would have lost because how ofthen do you see a ref wipe his brow after not giving a decision.
