Reading should have had a penalty when El Karkouri pushed Long in the area in the dying minutes of this nail-biting encounter at the Valley.
The Right Result was a 1-0 away victory for Reading.

Tough on the addicks but then they aren’t struggling for survival in the right result table anyhow, so not too much sympathy as a watford man.

It’s poetic justice meted out in the purest form to Charlton, they should have conceded a pen to Reading earlier in the season when El Karkouri fouled in the area and Poll missed it. It may not have had such an effect on the result that time but they all matter.

Agreed. It should have been a pen earlier and so it evens itself out. Well not in terms of points as the earlier one didn’t skew the result but it even itself out.
