MANCHESTER UNITED vs SHEFFIELD UNITED - Styles balls-up
Tuesday 17th April 2007

After a brilliant run, Luton Shelton was brutally hacked down by Gabriel Heinze as he prepared to shoot. Rob Styles failed to give the requisite penalty, much to the annoyance of all believers in footballing justice and Neil Warnock in particular.
The Right Result is a 2-1 victory to Manchester United.

Ok yes it was a penalty for sure - in fact I thought Heinze might have actually damaged Shelton the way his foot connected with the ankle (not intentionally though). Anyway, we would still have won I think even if the pen had been given. I think most of the pundits and observers felt the same way too.

It was a penalty, no doubt.
Has anyone seen the Adriano dive against Roma earlier this week - he got a two match ban for it apparently after a panel looked at at video evidence. I think that’s absolutely awesome I really do, and we really should incorporate it here so that players like Ronaldo, Drogba & Robben stop conning people with theatrics. And Eboue too, in case anyone thinks I’m picking on Man U and Chelski.
Adriano must be so embarrassed - or probably not actually.

definately a penalty, but i cant really agree with redhead’s comment. had we got a goal back it would have given the blades more spirit. we had a few decent chances after the penalty incident such as tonge’s long range shot against the bar. i think we would have created a lot more chances and perhaps put one away if we had more to play for at 2-1
