I guess each team should have some fixed number of chances to challenge the referees as it happens in Tennis. This would surely improve the nature of the game and the tempo.

i feel it's not so appropriate to invest on something like this~~~ it also decreases the excitement of the game....where referees play "important" role too! they are paid to receive the critics....

seriously if you want totally fair football results just play it in computer game!

All the laws in football should cover all the teams who play and love the game that is what has made it such a fascinating and enjoyable sport. so no thanks just improve the offers at the opticians for the men in black.

its simple, just use it for goal line and offside decisions it would take a second to check and would not interrupt the play as much as people say, anyway im all up for a slight interruption if it means we get the correct decisions!!

Definitely need it to some degree like you say, but not OTT - aren't they testing it for 2008/9 season?

It's a great idea in principle but how far can you take it is the question. Balls crossing the line and penalty shouts ok, but if you start moving into bookings, offside decisions etc then it could really take the pace out of the game, and in the case of the Premiership that is what makes it so popular.
