TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR vs DERBY COUNTY - Rams ‘flattered’ by embarrassing defeat
Saturday 18th August 2007

Despite the fact that Derby were soundly beaten by a clearly motivated Spurs team, the reality is that they were lucky not to have been absolutely thrashed by Martin Jol’s outfit, who stopped the rot of a dismal opening week with the sort of football that has many pundits tipping them for a top four placing this term. Spurs were denied a penalty when Darren Moore handled in the area, and also when Wayne Routledge was denied a legitimate goal after the lino flagged offside…
The Right Result is 6-0 to Spurs.
