Fulham should have had a penalty in the first half when Gardner blocked Kamara’s shot with his arm. Villa had a goal disallowed in the 68th minute when ref Steve Bennett should played advantage rather than send-off Chris Baird. Gareth Barry then had another goal disallowed for offside when he was onside. And Shaun Maloney’s final goal should have been disallowed for offside.

After all of that The Right Result was a 3-2 victory for Aston Villa.
