ARSENAL v MANCHESTER UNITED - Arsenal are back

The Arsenal crisis is over. Following fevered speculation that the Wenger empire was about to crumble, normal service was resumed in a fabulous contest with Manchester United. The Gunners just prevailed but they could have had a more comfortable finish as, with the score at 2-0 in the second-half, they should have been awarded a penalty for Nemanja Vidic’s shirt-tug on Man of the Match Samir Nasri.
The Right Result is a 3-1 win to Arsenal.

Arsenal are a class side with great supporters and wish them well so long as they finish below LFC. They deserved thier victory against the Mancs and agree with the 3-1 result.

Arsenal were outplayed by MU in every department except one. Unfortunately is was the one that counts!

How can you ignore Clichy’s handball in the 1st half, that was a much more obvious penalty than the Nasri one. As for the Nasri incident, yes vidic briefly held his shirt, but not enough for Nasri to go over, it was a clear dive. If it had been Ronaldo nobody would claim that that was a penalty & he would have been crucified for diving. The right result should be 2-2.

Personally I wasn’t sure about Nasri’s penalty because if it was an infringement it looked like the shirt was pulled just outside the box - and I don’t reckon it was quite enough for a pen. But also the handball shout looked like ball to hand - Clichy didn’t deliberately do it. Either way I reckon no changes due ie Arsenal deserved the win, so in fact the Right Result doesn’t change the outcome either way.

Did you forget the penalty Incident United should have had when it was 1 0 to arsenal just before half time Hand ball by Clichy.
