Blades denied legitimate goal (West Ham vs Sheffield Utd 25/11/2006)

Panel DecisionSheffield United’s Rob Kozluk had a goal disallowed for a foul on Hammers stopper Rob Green, but whether the ref called it right is debatable, and closer inspection would suggest he got it wrong…

In separate incident West Ham had a call for a penalty following a push by Steven Kabba, but the foul was committed outside the area.

The Right Result Panel adjudges the Rob Kozluk goal should have stood and the Right Result is West Ham 1 Sheffield United 1.

I don’t see how, if you look the keeper fouls Kozluk by flattening him, it was a 50/50 challenge and both keeper and attacker had the right to go for it in my opinion.

the attacker has no right to go for any ball against the keeper in modern football- it is always a foul

i’m not saying it should be like that, but when it goes against united it’s only fair
